Explore self-empowerment through deconstructing social designs, uncovering truths beyond the grind, gaslight, and divine influence.

What’s left after the Gods, the Grind and the Gaslight

I guarantee you fail to recognize the power you have. The way you want your life to feel is on the other side of a locked door, just waiting for you. You’ve lost your key and though no one can find it for you, maybe there are some questions that will help you remember where you left it, even if you lost it before you can remember having it.

THE QUESTION IS FAR MORE POWERFUL THAN THE ANSWER

Society is obsessed with answers, they provide a sense of safety, for we can control or at least predict what we can understand. Our parents wanted answers, our teachers, our bosses, time and again we’re taught to value the answer, to seek the answer or to have an answer. But questions help us mold our perspectives, break from our limiting beliefs and programming, and keep our eye on the big picture.

People Don’t Change

If you believe this is true, then it is. And if you don’t believe that you can change, then this is the first limiting belief you’ll have to break free from, but it isn’t as simple as knowing the answer or not, it’s a practice. Think of it like fitness, you can study all the books you want and learn all the right answers for the proper way to workout, the best routines, the best nutritional support, but it doesn’t mean anything until you walk into the gym. And the first time you go to the gym, you get an entirely different education. Sore and humbled, it probably takes you a few days before you’re able to get back to the gym. But if you stick with it, it gets easier, each time you go back the pain eases a little, the movements become more familiar, the recovery time becomes shorter. After a couple weeks you start feeling stronger. A few more weeks and you actually start seeing small changes. If you stick with it, these small changes grow bigger and bigger. This is the same with matters of the mind, self empowerment and self understanding.

Were you really taught how Unique you are?

Snowflake Story

As a kid, did you get the “If you magnify each snowflake you’ll find that they each have their own unique crystalline structure”?

Did that teach you uniqueness, or did you learn, in the big picture, you are just one little spec among many?

An Apple is my Culinary Delight

Nobody eats an apple like me

I can savor every sweet drop.

Get excited by the mist bursting into the air.

Hear the variety of pitches exploding with each crunch.

And I can do it all again tomorrow, with the deep understanding that yesterday’s apple is not the same as today’s and I am not the same me either. Today’s apple is its own unique experience

How do you experience this color?

Do you see orange the same way anyone else does?

Let’s assume for a moment that when we die, all will be revealed to us. What if you found out that you experienced the color orange with more emotional vibrancy than any other human ever has or will? That it made you feel more grounded and peaceful, while still imparting a rich energy of life to your spirit.

Would you wish you could come back to this very moment and just take a handful of seconds just feeling into this color?

They taught you Wrong!

They said you were special, but they taught you conformity and integration.

They told you no one has the same fingerprint or looks exactly like you…Come on, really?

They taught you how to stand in line. They taught you how to fit in. They taught you to feel good when you did what they said. They taught you how to feel bad when you didn’t. But your life isn’t for them it’s for you and you alone. Isn’t it time that you really learned just how much of a gift your life is?

You hold the leash

They taught you to hold yourself back, now it’s time to let yourself go

Your uniqueness is only limited by your ability to see it, but If you don’t really feel very unique, it’s not your fault, how could you really see it, really know it in your bones, if no one ever modeled it for you, showed you, taught you? it’s a practice that takes time. But a practice that leads to empowerment, change and the best life you can have

There’s only one Mona Lisa

And she wishes she was as lovely as you

I know there is a world unlike any other world inside of you. A world of sights, sounds, feelings and experiences that I will never get the privilege of knowing.
